Bighorn rams don't smoke, so this bad boy was trying for the James Dean look by having some grass hang out of the side of his mouth. Side of Mount Everts, Yellowstone, late September 2007.

I was particularly happy about this one because I anticipated the ram's movement, got in position, waited and was rewarded when I guessed right. Love it when that happens. All too seldom, alas . . .
