probably my favorite lake in the in the whole wide world, "no name lake" and always, by the time I hit it, I am in over-drive trying to get to Whitney, so the lakes banks have barely seen my feet. Hasn't voted | This is one of those places where the spirits gather. it doesn't look like too much, usually the meadow grass is much greener. You've got a great 360 view, including the backside of whitney and if you really wanted privacy (ask me about the naked chick!) you'd "water up" and hike up to the top of that barren hill on the left side . . . I am usually sprinting to the finish when I reach this spot, but it is a great place to stop and take in everything that you've just spent so many days doing.
