Bighorn Sheep, Upper Pole Coulior.

Bighorn Sheep, Upper Pole Coulior.

After doing a climb up the Upper Pole Coulior and hitting up the snow capped Cascade Mountain summit, I descended back down to the base of the Coulior and was met by this local resident. Spooky thing about this situation is that I was alone, as I usually am. The sheep did not seem to be intimidated by me being there, in fact it got closer, perhaps 25 feet away and just stared. I thought I was going to get ram-charged! After a brief stare down, the sheep took back off up the mountain. May 27, 2010.

Remember

those Mt. Dew commercials a few years ago? You should have took him on like the commercials. But, you would have to make sure you chugged your Dew first! Looks like you've been busy. Great shots of Timp and Cascade!
