Bilberry (Vaccinum myrtillus) is extremely common in Polish forests. Its barrel-shaped flowers appear from April to May and are pollinated by insects. The fruits begin to ripen in June. Both fruits and leaves of Bilberry have medicinal properties and can be used to improve eye function and blood circulation in one's body.
