Re: my first canyoneeringExcellent! It's nice since you drive almost to the trailhead! Rare for Zion canyons. The exit is nice too. Did you just hike back up to the East Rim or did you go through Orderville and out the Zion Narrows?

Re: my first canyoneeringwe used two vehicles and just exited through that cow pasture back east...so we took a right where you can take a left to reach the narrows...

I did Imlay with a couple of climbing partners to avoid the heat one day..it was cool learning to get out of pot holes....not much into Canyoneering...as long as I am outdoors, I am a happy camper, but would rather climb so Canyoneering takes a back seat. SP has two members really into it, Scott P and Courtney (cp0915), both good guys to hook into for trips. Cheers

Re: my first canyoneeringI know Scott Patterson and sort of know Courtney.... Peak Bagger, right? Imlay is one of the toughest in Zion! Only Heaps is tougher. What a way to start!
I know Courtney now! Got to hike with him last weekend. :)

Re: my first canyoneeringallow me to apoligize then...Courtney is part of a new prison release theme in NV....they assigned me Courtney (when he is allowed out) because of his ADD problem and figured I could wear him out...well, after my last Grand Canyon experience with him....I am afraid...so thought I would pawn him off on some unsuspecting souls like you and Bo...
