Bird over Pine Creek Gorge

Bird over Pine Creek Gorge
A turkey vulture soars over the Pine Creek Gorge near Barbour Rock. We were nearly finished with our three day trek along the West Rim Trail and took a rest at Barbour Rock to enjoy the scenery. Some vultures were soaring overhead in the mid-morning sun. This picture does not give a lot of justice to the actual view at Barbour Rock, but the bird above provides a neat prospective to the image.
