Good conditions, descent via the normal route (tricky when wet).

Blumlisalp twice, others once
The Blumlisalphorn was my first 12 thousander and 3rd alpine peak in 1973. I climbed it a second time in 1985, when I also did the traverse from Weissi Frau to Morgenhorn.

After 27 years of trying i finally climbed the first real mountain i ever saw in Switzerland and was it worth the wait.....A brilliant perfect day the weather the snow conditions and the company ...Fantastic !

Briljant tour. Face is not so difficult 45-50 max , after you passed the NW ridgeof the Wyssi Frau go directly North to the face, otherwise you cant cross some huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge crevasses!!
In the face, AT THIS TIME, you had to traverse about 250 m to the right. The traverse to the Morgenhorn under these snowy conditions was very beautifull and probebly one of the finest in the Alps!! Total time hut-face-traverse-hut in these snowy conditions 12h.
