| The Blumlisalphorn was my first 12 thousander and 3rd alpine peak in 1973. I climbed it a second time in 1985, when I also did the traverse from Weissi Frau to Morgenhorn. | |

| Beatiful summit with wonderfull view over Wallis and the Bernese Alps! Not very difficult. From the Blumlisalphut you can reach the summit in 2- 2 1/2 hours! | |

| Briljant tour. Face is not so difficult 45-50 max , after you passed the NW ridgeof the Wyssi Frau go directly North to the face, otherwise you cant cross some huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge crevasses!! In the face, AT THIS TIME, you had to traverse about 250 m to the right. The traverse to the Morgenhorn under these snowy conditions was very beautifull and probebly one of the finest in the Alps!! Total time hut-face-traverse-hut in these snowy conditions 12h. | |

| Climbed with Monica Spicker. We climbed the NW Ridge of the Wyssi Frau to obtain the crest of the classic traverse. This looked like (and was I am sure) a more interesting route than slogging up the Morganhorn. | |
