Black Balsam - Classic Southern Bald

Looking back at the inital approach to Black Balsam Knob in Pisgah NF. This looks back to the very popular trailhead along the Black Balsam Forest Service Road. It's the easiest route to Black Balsam, but also the most crowded - especially in summer.
