Hasn't voted | Thanks Larry! The color of the rock isn’t from a fire or anything like that. It comes from black manganese oxide in the sandstone. In other words, it’s very dark desert varnish, which is one of the interesting features found in Southern Utah. | | Posted Dec 18, 2007 1:46 pm |
