| to say that we drove to within 30' of the top of the mountain. Got out of the car and hiked 50 yards to cover the last 30' feet to the top. Cool radar installation and neat inversion over the Flathead and Mission valleys that day. Summitted with an impatient Kitty. | |

| Hiked up the new Lakeside/Blacktail Trail to the top. We encountered 3 feet of snow for the last couple of miles. I expected a 3 hour hike, but it turned into 5. My son and I made it to the top at 5.30 as the last light of the sun was almost gone. The trail is going to be a great addition to the mountain (when it is completed...and especially during the summer). The lower section of the hill, as of today, is quite hike-able and scenic. | |

| Whew this one really beat me up due to the slush on the road and the lack of windshield wiper fluid. A great drive and an even better mountain bike ride or walk, but did neither today. Was with my daughter Bhavani. | |
