| Camped here as part of a highpointing trip. I picked the place because of its convenient location between Spruce Knob and Backbone Mountain and had no idea what a beautiful place it would be. Hiked along the trails on the top and ventured down into the canyon a bit, but there was no set trail down that I could find. | |

| Twice-once in 1992 and once in 1995. Easy to forget there's so much more to the park than its namesake. | |

| Stayed here for a week long vacation with my family. Did some hiking around it and it was a really neat area. Reminded me of the PA Grand Canyon which is very near where I grew up. | |

| I used the unofficial manway that starts at Pendleton Overlook on the east rim of the canyon. | |
