The first trip out in my La Sportiva Makalu's. Took about 100 more miles to break in but it was worth it.

Hasn't voted | Mine were the same way. Took about 120 miles to break in. Now they need to be resoled and an eye loop snapped. Might be time to retire them. Lots of bloody heels and I now have large calcium spurs on my heels from them but they got me up many mountains in the last 6-7 years.
