Route Climbed: Blodgett Peak Open Space trailhead Date Climbed: February 21, 2005
The round trip took just under 3.5 hours taking the boulderfield up and the canyon trail down. The first time I spent nearly 6 hours wandering around on the vague trails. Great day for a hike. I would be willing to show someone the route if they want to summit but not have to deal with route finding.

The trail was rather steep and loose and not easy to make out in places which makes for a great time if you are ready for a challenge! If you are not ready for a real workout, stay home. Make sure you pay attention on the way up to aid in your descent as all three people I know that have summited got disoriented on the way down.

This was my second time up this cool mountain, and I must say much easier than last time (in November '03). The views on the summit were incredible as usual, and the weather held up great.

Route Climbed: from Blodgett Drive Date Climbed: 3/5/05This was my third time up this mountain, and it is always fun. The trails always seem to confuse me. Great workout and rewarding views!
