Blooming Huckleberry
Vaccinium spp at the shore of the no-name lake at the South base of Priord Pass.
It seems that the snow in Upper Rock Creek Basin melted away later than in the nearby valleys to the North and West, because a lot of late-spring bloomers still had flowers around here.
After a 5am start, and summiting three peaks, all we need now is a pleasant campsite in the timber country below! 7/29/08 3pm
