That's what I said while taking this picture, "What a nice day!" And on the way back Sharon said that she thought then that it was my not particularly bright attempt to lift spirits. Huh? It really was shaping up as a nice day it turned out to be!

Thanks! It is interesting how photography captures blowing snow in a ways different from what the naked eye sees. It's like with the pictures of flowing water, which get sort of surreal with the longer exposures used by the masters ... because it is beautiful but quite different what a naked eye would see.

Thanks BCJ! Photographing blowing snow is in many ways like photographing flowing water... it could become a real pretty shot because of blurring with longer exposure. Not the way our own eyes see it!
