made a quick hike of this due to fog and occasional drizzle. Limited views. Still a few patches of snow about. Lots of flowers in the meadows on the drive in. I also took a detour down to Dagger Falls on the Middle Fork of the Salmon and watched the salmon and steelhead jumping
An enjoyable hike that we did the day after doing Cape Horn Mountain. We camped at the Fir Creek campground which is less than a half mile away. About 8-9 miles of hiking with close to 2500' of elevation gain.
