Fine page on a hill area near the Boston Metro area. Gives folks a chance to get out of town on short notice!

Thanks for vote. I decide to hike these hills because I figured it would be warmer in Boston than in New Hampshire which was below zero at the time. Boston wasn't much warmer. I was always interested in these hills because the hike had shown up in a number of books. The hills themselves have view somewhat similiar to that of Rock Rimmon in Manchester.

Nice instructive page. Can you really call this a summit? My last mountain was 4500 ft and I asked myself if it should be posted on S.P.

Great Blue Hill is the best because it is the highest of the bunch and the observatory gives the best views. My dad and I hike here alot. Page has good info.
