BLUE is standard "Clipper"...
BLUE is standard "Clipper" route. Approach via Wheeler Trail and Wheeler Lake, then climb Clinton Peak first and circle the ridge to McNamee and Traver Peaks. Continue down the east ridge from there back into the basin, or follow RED, the southeast ridge route down to the Traver/Democrat saddle, and descend from there. RED is the longer of the two options; either way is all class 2 hiking.
