Blue Mt. from the NP Trail Height-of-Land
The seldom-seen backside of Blue Mt. The Northville-Placid Trail reaches its height-of-land around 3000' elevation a few miles north of Tirrell Pond (south of Long Lake). By walking perhaps 200' off trail, one can get this view. In the full-size image, you can see the firetower and two antennas near the summit.
