A nice, easy short hike with great views. Did as part of a long day of hikes along the BRP, including Mt. Mitchell just up the road. Beautiful country up here.

Pinnacle Trail
Most pictures on the main page were taken on this date, which was a day of such high winds you could hardly stand on the top. I've climbed Pinnacle many times from several starting points, beginning more than 40 years ago.
