Blue sky & unstable snow

Beautiful blue sky day in the Aiguilles Rouges, Chamonix valley. This thigh deep, wet snow slope ended at steep crags out of shot to the left - OK at the time I crossed it but an hour later there were regular spontaneous slides on the same aspect. Time to be somewhere else.
