BobCatTracks

These bobcat tracks were high on an obscure mountain near Lake Mead, NV (Sentinel Peak), in a deep gully. As seen in this photo, hunting bobcats often overstep their front tracks with the back paws, to decrease the chance of being heard. It had rained the night before, so the cat left tracks in the wet sand. The light was dim, so this hand-held shot is a bit blurry.
