Book Cliffs are lower, Roan Cliffs are very high

Located parallel to US highway 6 and I-70, these mountains are memorable. All the way from Helper, Utah to Grand Junction, Colorado the two mountain ranges can be seen. The Book Cliffs top out about 7000 feet and the Roan Cliffs are near 9600 feet. A natural barrier to entry, there are few canyon openings for use.
