Bottleneck Mesa-- Route Map

Bottleneck Mesa-- Route Map
Mostly Class 2 cross-country and wash hiking, but where the wash steepens and just below the summit plateau, expect Class 3/4 conditions.

Unless you are equipped with technical climbing gear, do not go to the saddle between the Bottleneck and Bottleneck Peak; it is not hard to reach the saddle, but it is Class 5 rock either way from there, and not "easy" Class 5.

CLARIFICATION: What is labeled as Bottleneck Peak is actually Bottleneck Mesa.
