Boulder Creek-- Point of Departure
Here, the Granite Highline Trail crosses Boulder Creek. Leave the trail and ascend the prominent chute just right of center. Above the trees, there is a rock scramble to a high saddle. The higher peak seen here is not Point 12,285.
