Boulders, Rocks and Pools Three Cliffs Bay
On the western reaches of Three Cliffs Bay shadowed by the cliffs of Great Tor are these large rock features. These like all areas on the Gower are great for many different rock activities.

Cheers for the nice comment.
This image was done using what is known as HDR format. Three different images each at a different exposure then embedded into each other using a software called Photomatix.
If you get the exposures right it can give you some rewarding results. As can be seen in this image.
Once again thank you.
David.

I was wondering how you had so much in crisp focus at much different distances. I haven't gotten into computer tweaking at that level yet. I was thinking of getting aperture pro for my mac, just haven't had the extra cash. Thanks for sharing.

It seems to have grabbed the votes well. It is worth trying the HDR stuff in the future as alot of people are turning to this method of photography now. The only problem is memory as for one image you need three or even five seperate pictures.

Thank you again for a nice comment. I have to say the sand is that red it could be on Mars.

I used to take the bus out to Pen Maen and Rhossili when I spent a semester at Swansea. This takes me back...

Thank you very much for your comment.
My friends on here and myself are looking at creating a page about the Gower for its rock climbing and its rugged hills.
Watch this space...!
Cheers - David.
