Voted 1/10 | Wanted to get to the top of Box Elder with a buddy of mine so we drove up to Granite Flats and saw all the misleading signs everywhere pointing towards "Box Elder Trail", so we figured this one was right. We went until the trail petered out and my buddy was dead tired, so I scrambled up onto the ridgetop and saw the main peak several miles away. My buddy didn't have the time (or the energy) to really push on up there any more so we just turned around. We came across another guy who was in the same boat as us, thought he was on the way to the top but not quite. If you really want to summit quickly, I'd suggest the DEER CREEK TRAIL, as we figured out too late after we got back to the parking lot. |
