| Yes I'm signing the register twice! After leaving the summit and getting ~40 miles toward Atlanta, I realized that my sunglasses were still on Georgia's highest point. Even though they're "cheapos", I always have a hard time finding ones that don't make me look like a bug. Begrudgingly, I drove back up as darkness was fast approaching. Happy to find the lower gate still open, I jogged up through the rain to find my glasses exactly where I thought they would be! | |

| A quick jog up the trail to find the tower fenced off. I climbed up a crumbly & mossy Class 3 dihedral on the north side of the summit to reach the top. | |

| Unfortunately the morning I was here there was dense fog and could not see anything from the summit. I liked the old wagon trail that was still there from back in the days when people went up here with horse and buggy. | |

| Started going up to Brasstown Bald when I was eight years old. I haven't been up there in about four years, though. Glad someone finally did a summitpost for the highest mountain in my home state. | |

| We climbed Brasstown Bald, via the road, which was covered in snow. It was over 3 miles to the summit, and the stars were spectacular! | |
