Why snowshoes and not skies?

	Hasn't voted	Thanks! A very short answer is, because mtn runr prefers snowshoes. But also, with overgrown, bare, or hard-crusted slopes below ennis peak, two-thirds of the route end up being rather marginal ski terrain. The cirque would still be worth it of course.
