Why snowshoes and not skies?

Thanks! A very short answer is, because mtn runr prefers snowshoes. But also, with overgrown, bare, or hard-crusted slopes below ennis peak, two-thirds of the route end up being rather marginal ski terrain. The cirque would still be worth it of course.

Thanks Rob! It is one beautiful peak, yes ... only, so often it's too grey and misty to capture its winter beauty
