Brian Jenkins negotiating the nearly invisible trail at Big Cedar Springs on the Eagle-Tanner trail, 10 3/4 miles in and about 13 to go. This is one of the best old-growth groves of Cedar, Hemlock and Fir in the gorge - some over 8 feet in diameter.
