What with all the complicity between you and Duchess - the relationship between a human and an animal can be something very strong! - I can imagine what it must feel like for you, knowing that soon it will be time to say goodbye. But Duchess has a soul - when I look into a dog's eyes, I feel ever so strongly the presence of a soul behind them - and it will turn into a beautiful white dove who's found it's sky in your eyes...
