Great weather is always a good thing when hiking to a peak. Most of this trail would be slick in the rain. Keep your eyes peeled since the trail is growing over in several places.

Quick approach on the snowmoble packed road, nice view from the top and just enough snow to ski down. Fun Sunday afternoon with my wife.

The elevation is unimpressive, gain relatively minimal, trail distance short, but Bridger Peak is a worthy highpoint nonetheless. The trail was steep enough to give somewhat of a workout, and no one else was on the mountain the day I reached the summit. Totally worth it! Views all around were quite beautiful.

After hiking Naomi the same morning, the lack of crowds on Bridger was a welcome sight. Short hike, but steep.

I knew this would be rough. My kids were wanting to go home after a full day before peakbagging. Camped nearby, I told them one more peak before we go. Knowing their attitude, it means...you'll be carrying us dad. So, 80 pounds to the summit it was. I used my Ninja meditation skills and before I knew it I was on the summit with little pain in my body. They both decided to walk down...thank goodness! A very easy county highpoint as advertised. Had a little difficulty finding the actual highpoint in the meadow. Had to resort to the GPS, but eventually found the cairn. No summit register in the PVC tube

Climbed this with my daughter, Heidi, my son-in-law, Rick, and their little baby, Ivy, who was one month and 17 days old. Ivy didn't do much climbing except as a passenger in the blanket-covererd baby Bjorn, but she may be the youngest person ever to visit the summit cairn on Bridger Peak. I took us - and we were not hurrying - about one hour to reach the top. There was a summit register but it lacked a cap and there was no writing instrument, either. I was glad to have loaded the summit coordinates into my GPS; using the GoTo feature was extremely helpful in finding the top in spite of 30 minutes of bushwhacking. Hiked this again on 8-15-08 and didn't have to use GPS to find the summit. Solo this time, it took 29 minutes to reach the summit cairn and 20 minutes to come down. #3 8-17-10 w/ Rick. Quick trip up and down, of course. :)

Fun early morning hike with my mom and wife during vacation at Bear Lake. Saw a moose and fought swarms of mosquitos. Quick and easy and worth the trip.

After hiking Naomi in the morning, my wife and I tackled this in the afternoon. It was plenty warm with valley temps in the mid-90's. Great views of Bear Lake!

There were five kids ranging from 7 to 16 that bagged this peak with five adults.

What a great hike, even though it is the lowest in elevation of all of the Utah County Highpoints

After the short hike to Bridger I decided I had time left in the day for Swan Peak to the south. The view from the peak here is amazing...much better than Bridger. So anybody else that is chasing highpoints and does Bridger you might as well tack on Swan because trust me it is worth it.
