Brink of the Falls

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Brink of the Falls
A view just a few yards upstream from the first falls overlook. Just to the left but not visible is the brink of the fall closest to the Virginia shoreline; it is also perhaps the highest single drop at Great Falls. This scene is from the day of a snowstorm that coated the cliffs in a rare cover of ice and snow.

Enlarge for better viewing.
