Brins Mesa Splattski !

Brins Mesa Splattski !

My dear wife (with the dark complexion on left) managed to pry me off the computer today. We hiked the Cibola Pass Trail to the Brins Mesa TH, then continued another 3 miles to the top of Brins Mesa. After Steve bribed me with a wide variety of pizza and burgers, I decided to post my first "Splattski" photo. It was really quite easy to snap this Splattski, as the weather was cooperating with zero wind. Think it got up to 75-degrees in Sedona. My wife and I still claim to be "Splattski beginners," but with a little more encouragement and bribes of pizza and burgers, I could really get used to this type of activity. Yes, that's 7,122' Wilson Mountain in the background over my baseball cap. Wonder if there's such thing as a "Splattski Burger???" Hmmmmm ... November 19, 2009

Happy hikers

Beautiful mountains you have there! And I think a "Splattski burger" may actually be a burrito.

Re: Happy hikers

Ha Ha, from Hailey, the breakfast burrito so big you need a 45 liter backpack to carry it!

Re: Happy hikers...

Please tell Hailey if the gigantic burrito
comes with "Gringo Bandito Red Hot Habanero
Sauce
," then it's definitely a deal !!!

Re: Happy hikers...

You're kidding! Hailey's in Idaho?

For a minute there, thought that Hailey might
be your ex-wife or something. Sorry 'bout that.

Aha

the real Larry at last. I expected to see a "Home Depot Paint section" hat logo on your hat. I might title this "The Cute Splattski" and place this one also in the "smiles" album.

Re: Aha...

Ha ha - I was faced with the dilemma of
having to choose from a variety of hats for
my initial Splattski shot.

So many hats ... so little time !!! : ))

Re: Aha...

I understand the dilemna, I always have to figure out what orange hat to wear. It is a real trial. BTW, you should attach this to the Splattski album.

Re: Well now...

Geez, Steve ... you make it sound like I just
won the lottery or something.

Actually, I consider myself very fortunate to
contribute to such a FUN site as Summitpost.

Sorry, but your offer is going to have to
stand longer ... you're talking to a couple
of "working stiffs" who get very little time
(off) to enjoy the luxuries of Idaho!

One of the (many) reasons I married my wife
was because of her smile, and she somehow
manages to keep it on her face through the
thick and thin ... the THICK being all those times when I spent way too many hours on this computing gadget in front of me here.

Thanks for including us on your album !!!
