very fine page that shows deep knowledge. I climbed it last year and will post pictures after scanning if they are useful.

remarks

- Bristenhuettli has only 6 places, not 14 !

- There is a little private cablecar to the houses of Breitlaui (1150 m) that can shorten the ascent or descent.

- why not listing the other 6 possible routes?

- Alpenkalb told me that Bristensee can also be reached by a path from Vorderer Etzliboden in Etzli valley east of the mountain

Hi Mathias

Thanks for your comments. If I remember right, there are additional mattresses in Bristenhuettli, so a few more people could sleep in the kitchen. Also, there's a second, smaller hut. I guess that the owner would hand out the key to this hut if a bigger group is on its way.

I know only these two routes, so I guess it makes no sense to write much about the other routes.

The access from Etzliboden is mentioned in the description of the NE ridge. This is one steep path!

Hi Keyser,

as I remember the owner told us that the other hut remains their private one. But perhaps they make an exception as you tell. Surely the second hut is closed normally.

You are right about the Etzli access. I missed this.

A route overview, just with the basis data from a guidebook, is always useful to complete the page. (as for example on my page about Grossvenediger)

Thanks again for you great work and pictures!

Nice job. A peak I must investigate - looks like there are some interesting routes on it.

Are you sure about the coordinates? Check the distances to neighbouring mountains.

My guess is: +46.7384 / +8.6833
