Yours truly on the summit of Bauerman Ridge (8044 feet), August 9, 2009. Using only one trekking pole, an indicator that my right arm is still broken.

Voted 10/10 | ... but it was not as if you needed to use your arms much on this climb (which was one of the reasons I thought it would be a good climb for us), although the final rocky mound required scrambling. Hasn't voted | I hope we go back. I found the area to be much more interesting than I expected. I'm getting good at short easy class 3 scrambles just using my left arm. I saw the doctor again yesterday and in two weeks it should be back to full use. | | Posted Aug 13, 2009 12:34 pm |
