Bruce starting the first rappel off the Condor Buttress. We are about 600 feet up at this point. Notice the road that goes up at the top of the photo, about 2,100 feet below. This is the road to the Stuart Lake Trailhead used by Brian Jenkins and crew to climb Colchuck Peak.
