| Didn't realize this was public lands when we visited by moonlight. Went in the scenic way through the landfill not realizing it was a landfill until the aroma gave it away. Trip report. | |

| Though the summit is off limits except to guided tours, it looks easy enough to do during the daytime. Still with a nice full moon and being close to home I couldn't pass up the scofflaw experience. The cows kept me on my toes... I felt like I was being stalked by 600 pound animals! Beautiful place to visit during the day in the rainy season too. | |
