Brussels Peak Climb

Pay attention climbers using this beta for a climb of Brussels....this photo I took matches one Sean put in his guide book. Do not let this confuse you. Unlike what he states regarding that the photo is from the col, it is not. It is from the top of the lower portion of the ridge. There is a significant glacier left on the east side of the mountain. Via his notes, you could be easily (I was) convinced that you need to circumvent onto the glacier to ascend the lower flank of the mountain on the east side. It is best to take the ridge straight on or just slightly east of the col. Brussels Peak North East Ridge, Alpine III- 5.7, ascent on July 17, 2006, Jasper National Park.
