As of October 2012, where the trail passes Longfellow Mountain, it is in very poor condition. Several sections of trail are so overgrown and/or washed away in creek beds that is is impossible to follow exactly. A few cairns have been erected in the worst parts but it's still difficult to follow.

Re: Trail UpdateThat's very helpful. When we passed by Longfellow, it was all under snow anyway, so it could have been like that when we climbed it in 2004 too.
