Buck Mountain's stygian North Face as seen from the basin below High Pass on August 18, 2002. The North Face has probably only been climbed once (by Cal Folsom and Mark Moore in September 1976). They advised against attempting that huge wall, which is 1,200+ ft high at its greatest point. At upper right can be seen the west slopes below the west summit.
