| What a beautiful canyon, and a fun one too! Sure is muddy this time of year though. I went with a friend who had never been in a slot before - sort of a first time training event. We got turned back at the second significant downclimb right before the confluence of the main and south forks. He wasn't comfortable with it and there were no readily available natural anchors. I'll be back. | |

| This branch was the highlight of the Buckwater Draw Grand Tour described by Scott. I was shocked at how high quality this canyon was! It was consistently narrow with lots of short downclimbing or rappelling problems to solve. Nothing but pure (muddy) fun! Nice short approach to boot. I'd call this one a gem. | |
