Bucov Plato

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bucov Plato
Bucov Plato (1305m) is highest point in Pakleno circle and one of many such interesting details in this area of heavily developed karst. From horizontal perspective it appears to be plateau, as name says (plato = plateau) but when observed from above you actually realize that is made of hundreds of pillars which have similar height.

The name comes from Atif Saleš - Buco, a local mountaineer who got killed in 90's war. This was his favourite place. I even knew the guy.
