| Strangely, enjoyed this hike with two vacationing Texans. Nicest Dallas boys I've ever met. Was raining down in valley when we were up high. Storms that night and the next morning. Maybe not the best idea to climb, but no thunder until we got down. | |

| Climbed from Meadow Creek Trail to Deming, then over to Eccles and then up Buffalo. Down Buffalo and circled back to the trailhead via Lily Pad Lake trail. No pup this trip :( | |

| did a quick later afternoon sunset hike, didn't encounter snow pretty much the entire way to the summit, just small patches here and there, brought and used some gaitors anyway. Great way to finish a day in Summit County, CO. | |

| Climbed and skied Silver Couloir with buddy Matt. Pretty cool looking down on my new hometown of Silverthorne and being able to get a zoomed in image of my apartment complex. Ski lived up to hype, its a classic, as are many lines in the Gores. | |

| Snow on the ridge and the crux made it spicey enough to keep me on my toes. The ridge is neat. The blue paint arrows were annoying to see in the wilderness. | |

| Hiked from Buffalo Cabin. Unplanned last minute ascent, sketchy partners, off route most of the way, in the dark. Much easier after the moon came up. Spent a long, long time on the summit. Must ski the Silver next year. | |

| I got within 500 vertical feet on a couple of occasions only to turn back due to the group or weather conditions. Finally summitted on a really clear day. Truely memorable. | |

| Snowshoed up std route, snowboarded down Silver Couloir from the summit. Condis not bad up top but got wetter and heavier all the way down. Huge debris field at bottom - pretty scary. Would have kicked butt in better snow. Tough uphill slog exit. 4:45 RT | |

| When I saw the length of this trail, I thought that it wouldn't be too hard despite the elevation gain; well it was a lot harder than I thought. I have done much longer hikes with a good eal more elevation gain, but nothing this steep for this long. It was the hardest 6 mile hike of my life! The weather was pretty good though, although it was cool (53) and breezy (32 mph) at the top. A great hike with awesome views! I never guessed that the Gore Range on the back side of the mountain was so impressive! | |
