Voted 10/10 | mess about the name of Rebra/Buhaescu peaks, see here.
Although many have got to know the setup you have described (very likely due to an error in the old K.u.K. military maps and all those derived from it later), I woul opt for the geographycally more sound version, which means swapping the names :) | | Posted Dec 10, 2010 5:17 pm |

Hasn't voted | Really ? I am absolutely surprised by that and had no clue... so you mean Rebra is that something non-prominent on the left that we always used to regard as Buhaescu Mare ? Hilarious accident !
I even feel a bit strange changing the caption after you let me know about that shocking fact :)))

Voted 10/10 | I can understand the schock, it was the same with me. Since then I have made quite a bit of research and I am convinced that a mapping mistake must have lead to this, plus also found some more interesting changes in Rodnei toponyms, and of course more confusion :)
Actually it's high time I wrote about this issue on the mountain page :) | | Posted Dec 10, 2010 7:25 pm |

Hasn't voted | No choice, I have to change some photo captions...I have just found my photos displayed even on the first postition in google image browser under "buhaescu" or something and that is wrong :)
I'm gonna post more photos from those lovely mountains, visited just two weeks after you as you know well, tomorrow and later so feel first invited Peter.
Pozdrawiam
