| Good trail...but very long, the summit trail from Williams Lake is better for summiting, however, this offers you access to Gold Hill as well. 14 miles of sheer joy! | ||

| The route page mentions lightning, but I think it deserves extra mention here. For me on this trail, that was the single most memorable thing. Impressive! and there is no escape..... | |

| I used to trail run on this trail all the way to Wheeler peak. I have done it also in the winter on snow shoes. Fun trail. | |

| Hey Liba - I'm planning to do a early winter ascent of this the 2nd week of December. What would you recommend? Skinning or snowshoes to the summit ridge. Typically is the snow deep enough on the summit ridge for snowshoes? | |
