| 5/18/08 - Climbed from the east after first making the hike to Osprey Falls. Tried to stay on the vague trail, but gave up due to numerous snow patches and just bee-lined for the summit. And I thought it was windy up top last year... 9/28/07 - A fairly nice day, other than massive wind gusts. Finally got around to climbing Bunsen, after many years of just driving by. | |

| Nice hike, with a great view of Mammoth Hot Springs and the surrounding area. Be sure to take the loop trail down the mountian and visit Ospery Falls. | |

| I climbed Bunsen with my sister and her fiance. I think it took only about an hour or so to reach the top. The weather was great, it was breezy at the summit, but it was warm enough so that it was not unpleasant. Spectacular views of the Gallatins and Swan Lake Flat. God, I love Yellowstone. | |
