Bushwhacking nightmare!

Old-growth forest along the shore of Quartz Lake meant we had to lug rafts seven miles to the lake, then row three miles to our campsite. Then bushwhack through this, all on a trip in which I failed to summit South Vulture Peak. Photo by Vernon, July 29, 2007.
