I really like this picture. I'm pretty sure it's a butterfly from the Nymphalidae Family. It may be an Argynnis adippe = Fabriciana adippe. We have these butterflies in Polish mountains as well. Greetings, Henryk.

Thanks Henryk! We see these butterflies throughout the northeastern United States as well. I will have to do some research on what species it is. Cheers.
